Hiking Play Date

Hiking Play Date

It's Friday and a special day off from school! Hooray! The cold chill left us for a few days in the midst of Fall, as if "she" can sense that we're having a short break, and "she" went off for a long weekend too! The triplets woke up without a fight and dressed "willingly", getting ready for the hiking date with their new friends from school (and mine too, with their granny and moms).

We went to the wilderness park nearby and wow, it's amazing when the kids gathered (and furkids too), for we had a pool of 10 kids and 2 doggies! The path was rocky and the summery sun, (like a diligent coworker who covers Fall's absence) was so hardworking as if he's too eager to show his potential to the new boss (ya, we all met that kind of coworkers don't we, LOL). So we left the trail upon request from the kids' constant complaints (urg, hate that), and had a picnic on the beautiful shady lower ground.

Well, the kids were happier (and furkids too), as they ran all over the grassy field, chasing the ball and dogs(!!!) Lola, a husky pomeranian mixed, who has mixed color eyes too (right hazel and  left blue), ran off from the kid's powerless grip twice! Once to chase bird and then to chase ball! What a young curious girl, as if she is experiencing "terrible two" too!

Nicole, the triplet's classmate, love Cola - our "forever young" 10 years old maltese. Thanks to her, I was granted a lot of me-time and could chat carefreely with the adults, yeah!

It was such a fun hiking (more like a play date since we didn't hike that long, haha), and can't wait for the next hiking date, well... when Fall is back from her vacation. Bye for now :)

Fun Sledding on Snow Mountain

We were just back from our year end vacation in Sunny Singapore, and couldn't wait to jump right into the snow few days later at Angeles Crest mountain (right next to our house). Fluffy icy snow plus endless sledding down the snowy slopes, both adults and kids (and our dog) were having so much fun!!! Snow fight, snow balls, snow mans, snow angels, EVERYTHING SNOW! Watch till the end for a big surprise, hehehehehe!!!!

Running at the Dog Run Park

Running at the Dog Run Park

The triplets were afraid of Cola, partly because Cola was very defensive towards them and either shunned away or threatened to bite them when they went near him. So I brought them to the Dog Run Park and let them interact with other dogs, teaching them how to approach dogs and how to play with them. After 2 outings to the park, the kids like dogs more and are much closer to Cola. This is a good method, try it if you have a bad dog-kid relationship, hehehe.

The Little Helper Walking Dog

Charlotte just had a surgery to correct her cock eye and she woke up early in the morning. She saw mummy bringing Cola out and insisted to help her to walk the dog, how sweet :)

Brayden woke up and I was about to bring Cola out, so I put on his little sneakers and jacket, passed him the lease and let him strolled along with the dog. What a little helper :))

We went for a stroll along Big Bear Lake and what a breathtaking view! Asher stood by the railing, enjoying the scenery while in deep thoughts (LOL), Brayden was more interested with the planks and Charlotte grabbed Cola's lease happily.

Triplet Babies Laughing at Dog

Our triplet babies started to notice Cola when they were 7th mth old. Thinking that he might be a BIG fluffy bear, they always laugh hilariously at him, when he sneezes, coughs, whines, wags its tail, or simply sitting down minding his own business. They just find him funny and never fail to try by all means to chase or touch him, so much so we have to lock him in the kitchen...because he doesn't like being harassed, LOL.
